Juliet 어원

여성 고유명사로, 이탈리아어 Giulietta에서 유래되었으며, Giulia "Julia"의 축약형입니다 (참조: Julia). 프랑스어 Juliette와 비교할 수 있습니다. Juliet cap (1904년)은 "로미오와 줄리엣"의 무대 프로덕션에서 착용되는 의사 중세 헤드기어와 닮았다고 해서 이름 붙여졌습니다.

A Parisian fancy which is finding little favor here, is the Juliet cap. It is a net of beads or of meshed cord jewelled or beaded at the intersections.
