tango 어원

싱코페이션이 가미된 볼룸 댄스, 1913년 (영국과 미국에서 유행하기 시작한 해), 아르헨티나 스페인어 tango에서 유래, 원래는 아프리카-남미 드럼 댄스의 이름으로, 아마도 니제르-콩고어에서 유래했을 것으로 보이며 (이비비오어 tamgu "춤추다"와 비교), it takes two to tango라는 구절은 1952년 노래 제목으로 사용되었다. 동사로는 1913년부터 사용되었다. 관련된 단어로는 Tangoed가 있다.
