Juliet 的詞源

女性名，源自意大利語 Giulietta，是 Giulia “朱莉婭”（見 Julia）的愛稱。與法語 Juliette 相似。 Juliet cap（1904）因其類似於在“羅密歐與朱麗葉”舞臺劇中穿着的僞中世紀頭飾而得名。

A Parisian fancy which is finding little favor here, is the Juliet cap. It is a net of beads or of meshed cord jewelled or beaded at the intersections.
