atomy 的詞源

1590年代，“原子”，也指“微小的生物”，源自 atomy，來自拉丁語 atomi，是 atomus 的複數形式（參見 atom），但在英語中被視爲單數，並以本地方式重新複數化。在某些情況下，也許是 atomy 的複數形式（源自 anatomy 的誤分）。
