hulk 的詞源

古英語 hulc “輕快的船”（解釋爲拉丁語 liburna，但在中古英語中是笨重、難以操縱的），可能來自古荷蘭語 hulke 和中世紀拉丁語 hulcus，最終可能源自希臘語 holkas “商船”，字面意思是“被拖的船”，來自 helkein “拉，拖，拽”（來自 PIE 詞根 *selk- “拉，拖”）。
