「 forties 」の語源

1843年から1849年までの誰かの人生の年齢を指し、1840年からは特定の世紀における第五の十年を表すようになりました。詳しくは forty を参照してください。また、さまざまな時代や場所で特定の寡頭政治や支配層、統治機関を指す名称としても使われてきました。
