exploitation 어원

1803년, 어떤 것의 "생산적인 작업", 처음 사용한 이들 사이에서 긍정적인 단어였으나, 프랑스어 exploitation에서 유래한 갈리즘으로 간주되었으며, exploiter (참조 exploit (v.))에서 파생된 행동 명사. 1830년대-50년대에 나쁜 의미가 발전했으며, 부분적으로는 프랑스 사회주의 저작의 영향 (특히 생시몽), 또한 미국 반노예제 저작에서 이 단어의 사용에 의해 영향을 받았을 가능성이 있으며; 그리고 exploitation은 한때 찬사로 여겨졌던 활동에 대한 모욕으로 던져졌다.
