surfing 어원

1955년, surf (v.)의 명사형. 서핑 열풍은 1963년 캘리포니아에서 미국 전역으로 퍼졌다. Surf-board는 1826년 유래, 원래 하와이안 및 폴리네시안 맥락에서 사용되었다. Surf music은 1963년부터 증명되었다.
