Eurasian 的詞源

14世紀晚期，“亞洲（小亞細亞）的居民”，源自拉丁語 Asianus（形容詞和名詞，“屬於亞洲省”； “亞洲居民”），來自希臘語 Asianos “亞洲的”，源自 Asia（見 Asia）。它在20世紀中期取代了 Asiatic 成爲首選術語。
