「 Peter Pan 」の語源

J.M.バリーの戯曲『ピーターパン、または大人になりたくない少年』（1904年）に登場する少年英雄の名前で、バリーの『白い鳥』（1902年）で初めて紹介されました。1914年からは、未熟な大人男性を指す比喩的な表現として使われるようになりました（G.B.ショーがカイザーを指して言及した例など）。
