「 androcentric 」の語源

「男性を中心に据える」という意味で、1887年に登場しました。これは、andro-（男性、男）と-centric（中心の）を組み合わせたものです。この言葉は、1911年にフェミニスト作家シャーロット・パーキンズ・ギルマンの著書『The Man-Made World or, Our Androcentric Culture』によって広まりました。
