「 kraken 」の語源

ノルウェー沿岸で時折現れると言われる海の怪物、1755年、ノルウェー方言のkrake（-nは定冠詞としての接尾辞）から、明らかにkrake「ポール、杭、柱」、また「曲がった木、低木や人」を特別に用いたもの。
