idealism 어원

1796년, 추상적인 형이상학적 의미로 "현실이 오직 아이디어로 구성되어 있다는 믿음"을 나타내는 용어로 사용되었습니다. 이는 ideal (형용사)과 -ism의 결합으로 만들어졌으며, 아마도 프랑스어 idéalisme에서 유래했을 것입니다. "사물을 이상적인 형태로 표현하려는 경향"이라는 의미는 1829년부터 사용되었고, "이상적인 것을 추구하며 완전한 상태(진리, 순수성, 정의 등)를 지향하는 노력"을 나타내기도 했습니다.
