exogamy 的詞源

“部落或羣體內結婚”，1865年，以 polygamy 爲模板衍生出 endo- 。相關詞彙： Endogamous （1865）。與 exogamy 相對。 明顯地，這兩個詞均由蘇格蘭人類學家約翰·弗格森·麥克倫南（John Ferguson McLennan）（1827-1881）在《原始婚姻》一書中創造。
