indictable 的詞源

原本也稱爲 endict，約1300年， enditen， inditen，“對（某人）提出正式指控； 指控犯罪”，源自盎格魯-法語 enditer “指控，起訴，發現犯有刑事罪行”（13世紀末），古法語 enditier， enditer “口述，寫作，創作； （法律上）起訴”，源自通俗拉丁語 *indictare “宣佈，指控，書面宣告”，源自 in- “在”（源自 PIE 詞根 *en “在”）+ 拉丁語 dictare “宣佈，口述”，頻頻形式的 dicere “說，講話”（源自 PIE 詞根 *deik- “展示”，也表示“莊重地宣佈”）。
