sigil 的詞源

"標記、標記或印章"，15世紀中期， sigille，源自晚期拉丁語 sigillum，源自拉丁語 sigilla（中性複數）"小雕像、小圖像、印章"，是 signum "識別標記、標誌"的縮小形式（參見 sign（n.））。在占星術中，一種被認爲具有巨大力量的神祕裝置（1650年代）。
