velociraptor 어원

1924년에 라틴어 velox (속격 velocis) "신속한, 빠른" (참조 velocity)과 raptor "강도" (참조 raptor)를 결합하여 만들어졌습니다. 이 공룡의 화석은 1923년에 몽골에서 발견되었습니다.
