encore 的詞源

1712年，源自法語 encore “仍然，尚未，再次，也，此外”（12世紀），通常被解釋爲來自俗拉丁語短語 *hinc ad horam “從那時到現在”，或 (in) hanc horam “（到）此時此刻”（意大利語 ancora “再次，仍然，尚未”據說是法語藉詞）。作爲名詞，從1763年開始使用； 作爲動詞，從1748年開始使用。相關詞彙： Encored。
