hinterland 的詞源

1890年，最初用於地理學，指“緊密與港口城市經濟聯繫的位於其後方和內陸的地區”，源自德語 Hinterland，由 hinter “後方”（見 hinder（adj.））和 Land “國家”（見 land（n.））組成。在英語中，這被稱爲 back-country。喬治·G·奇索姆（George G.
