rad 的詞源

15世紀中期， radiacion，“發光的行爲或過程”，源自拉丁語 radiationem（主格 radiatio），“發光，輻射”，是 radiare 的動名詞形式，該詞源自 radius，“光束； 車輪輻條”（參見 radius）。

“發射的光線或光束”意義始於1560年代。1650年代開始有“偏離中心”的意義。在現代物理學中，“以波或粒子形式發射或傳輸能量”，特別是指電離輻射，始於20世紀初。
