restricted 的詞源

"有限的，受限制的"，1830年，來自 restrict 的過去分詞形容詞。關於政府文件等，“祕密的，不公開發布”的記錄始於1944年。相關詞： Restrictedly。舊的形容詞僅爲 restrict。在20世紀中葉的美國， restricted 是“猶太人禁區”的委婉說法（1947年）。
