doodle 어원

"비실비실 낙서를 하다," 1935년, 아마도 방언적 doodle, dudle "시간을 허비하다, 사소한 일에 신경 쓰다"에서 유래했거나 dawdle와 관련이 있을 수 있다 (dialect 단어의 출처일 수 있음). 또한 1620년대부터 "단순한 사람"을 의미하는 명사로 사용되었으며, Johnson의 사전에서는 "사소한 것; 게으른 사람"으로 정의되었다.
