healer 的詞源

古英語 hælan "治癒； 拯救； 使完整，健康"，源自原始日耳曼語 *hailjan（也是古撒克遜語 helian，古諾爾斯語 heila，古弗裏西亞語 hela，荷蘭語 helen，德語 heilen，哥特語 ga-hailjan "治癒，療愈" 的來源），字面意思是 "使完整"（來自原始印歐語言 *kailo- "完整"； 參見 health）。及物動詞意義出現於14世紀晚期。相關詞彙： Healed； healing。
