「 changing 」の語源

13世紀初頭には「変化」、14世紀中頃には「一つのものを別のものに置き換える行為」という意味で使われるようになりました。これは動詞の change から派生した名詞です。Changing-room という言葉は1852年に登場し、当初は鉱夫や火薬工場の作業員などのためのものとして使われていました。
