blamed 的詞源

"confoundedly" 1833年出現，後來也用作形容詞（1840年），源自 blame（動詞）的過去分詞，作爲“可怕的 damn 一詞的委婉迴避。” [巴特利特，《美國俚語詞典》，1848年]。
