vulgar 的詞源

15世紀中期， divulgen，“公開，散佈”（現在在這個一般意義上已經過時），源自拉丁語 divulgare “發佈，普及”，由 dis- “分開”（見 dis-)和 vulgare “使成爲共同財產”組成，源自 vulgus “普通人民”（見 vulgar）。“告訴或公開以前私人或祕密的事情”的意義始於大約1600年。相關詞彙： Divulged； divulging。
