marriageable 的詞源

公元1300年， mariage，"結婚的行爲； 也指夫妻關係的狀態或條件，婚姻，結合； 也指男女通過婚姻終身結合的特定婚姻關係； "源自古法語 mariage "婚姻； 嫁妝"（12世紀），源自通俗拉丁語 *maritaticum（11世紀），源自拉丁語 maritatus，過去分詞形式的 maritare "結婚，嫁娶，嫁出"（參見 marry（動詞））。通俗拉丁語單詞也是意大利語 maritaggio 、西班牙語 maridaje 的來源，與 mariachi 相似。
